Crann na beatha
Welcome to the world of Crann na Beatha. This is where I can tell the stories that have haunted my dreams for years. This is a world of Diathan (gods) who actually care about their followers. The Stories are about strong men, feminine women, loving families, good friends, and treasured places.
This is where I sit at the fireplace once a week, sometimes more, and tell stories.
There are two stories that you can read so far:
A Broken Woman's True Desire: Traveling Mercenary and Black Swan member Balgair Moeldr is just passing through Eola when he meets a broken woman named Heather, who is not what she seems. Despite his misgivings, he bonds with Heather and discovers that she’s boireannach foirfe umhail, a submissive woman who can be the center of a balanced household. Before he figures her out, she is kidnapped by the servant of a chaos god, and he has to try to get her back.
The Reeve's Tale: Traveling Mercenary and Black Swan Member Balgair Moeldr has taken on the role of Reeve of Eola. Joining him are his bannaichean, Amelia and Nell. The two meet Heather and quickly work to integrate her into their household. Meanwhile, Balgair has to solve his first case. Why did the Mayor and Head Magician leave town defenseless? What does the Chaos god have to do with it?
Current Novella: Voyage of the Dawn Breaker: After a battle at the Three Rivers Fort, Rhyslin DarkBlade, the Draoidh falls unconscious. While he is out of action, Mathair Astinmah, the goddess of Crann Na Beatha works to set him up with the life she wants him to have. When he wakes up, the old draoidh quickly tries to put an end to her plans, but he's too late. Three women have set their sights on him for different reasons.
Flur Droigheann, the golden-haired princess, desperately wants to learn what he has to teach her, even if she must become a bean-cheangail.
Ilyriatri oran Rionnag, the Queen of the desert-dwelling Ciad-Ghin,  wishes to travel with him, believing him to be one of the legendary Ciah-Fhir
Vuuroena Sielmatt, Ilyriatri's daughter, has seen Rhyslin in her dreams for eight years and believes he can save her from her fate.
These three women must come to grips with what he is, for each of them finds themselves falling in love with him.
