Intimate Conversation between Bhannan
Chapter 7 - Part 3 (Voyage of the Dawn Breaker)
The golden-haired trial followed her into the great cabin. After closing the door behind them, Ilyriatri critically examined Flur. “How do you want him to treat you?”
Flur blushed, lowered her head, and hid beneath her hair. “Part of me wants him to make love to me tenderly.”
“And the rest of you?”
“I want him to put me on my hands and knees and marcaich mi mmar làir anns an teas.[1],” Flur admitted with a shiver of desire. When she looked up, her eyes were dilated with lust.
Ilyriatri nodded, “I thought as much.” She took Flur by the hand and guided her back to her cabin. “Then let's dress you for the part, you slut gun dochas,” she teased.
Flur's shivering increased tenfold. “Yes, take me to my maighstir so that faodaidh e mo chleachdadh mar bhoireannach sgaoilte[2].”
You've got it bad; Ilyriatri pulled Flur into her cabin and found her luggage. “Let's see what you've got in here.” After going through Flur's clothes, she made a disapproving noise. “You didn't pack any intimate nightwear?” When Flur shook her head, Ilyriatri sighed. “Do not move from that spot. I will be right back.” She cannot move except toward him, like a leamhan to a flame. She quickly returned to her room and took a minute to watch her daughter sleep.
Not that I'm any better, Ilyriatri thought as she went through her nightwear, choosing a silky nightgown that was so sheer that it was almost transparent and a black chemise with lace around the cup and along the hemline. I never imagined that his prana was so powerful. I could feel it on the other end of the ship. She shivered as the waves of his prana washed over her in an ever-growing current, and her body responded. She took a couple of deep breaths and fought against the heat she felt in her loins.
“This isn't right,” she whispered, then turned and looked at the bed as she heard Vuuroena whimper. She listened as her daughter muttered something about a maighstir and watched Vuuroena writhe under the covers. She's too young to feel this. With the two sets of lingerie in hand, she turned away from Vuuroena and almost ran back to Flur's cabin, her keen ears catching the cries of the dryad through the walls.
She felt the heat rising through her body as it threatened to overwhelm her, and she had to stop and brace herself against the wall. It's getting harder to think. She shook her head and tried to clear it. All she wanted to do was throw herself at Rhyslin's feet. I haven't felt this way since Garion bonded with me. She took a deep breath. I must get back to Flur. She needs to complete her bond.
[What if Rhyslin demands your bond as well?] A strange voice interjected. Ilyriatri didn't recognize the voice in her head. [What will you do?]
Now I'm talking to myself. Ilyriatri had to stop and rest her head against the wall. After drawing a deep gulp of air, she fought to take another step.
[Could you answer the question, child?] The voice demanded.
“I would give him my bond,” she whispered.
[Very good,] the voice sounded pleased. [Hurry, we must work fast to fix what A’ Mathair accidentally messed up.]
What? Even with the currents of wild desire that coursed through her, Ilyriatri caught the note of disapproval in the Dhia's voice.
[Yes, yes. You'll know it in time.] Ilyriatri drew a deep breath as the goddess somehow lessened the effects of the overwhelming prana. [Hurry, this will be brief. Even I need help fixing what is broken.] Ilyriatri nodded as she slipped into Flur's room. She found the golden-haired bean-cheangail curled up in a ball, shivering uncontrollably. “Pull yourself together, Flur,” she offered the chemise to her niece, “Hurry up and put this on.” She half watched as Flur took the lingerie and shook it out.
“I'm going to wear this?” Flur turned it, trying to determine its length by holding it against her body.
Ilyriatri nodded, pushing her skirt down over her hips and letting it fall to the floor. “Come on. We need to present you to your maighstir.” Ilyriatri deftly unlaced her blouse and shrugged out of it. She indulged in the relative freedom, stretching her arms over her head with a soft, happy sigh.
Flur followed suit, slipping out of her clothes and donning the chemise. “This is almost too short,” she giggled as she ran her hands down, smoothing away the non-existent wrinkles.
“It will give him something to look at,” Ilyriatri replied as she raised the gown over her head and allowed the translucent material to flow down her body like water until it stopped just above her knees.
Flur stared at Ilyriatri, “Ergh,” she whimpered as another wave of masculine energy washed over her, sending her to her knees. “Why is this happening?”
“A' Mathair messed something up, and … “ Ilyriatri paused as it dawned on her whose voice she had heard. “Chantico said it falls on you and me to attempt to fix it.” She listened to a soft hum in her head and knew the goddess was pleased with her.
“But how?” Flur wondered as she started shivering again. “I'm scared,” she looked at Ilyriatri. “I want to give myself to him; I… I don't want to get hurt.” She wiped away the tears that gathered in the corners of her eyes. “Does that make me a lousy bean-cheangail?”
“No,” the older Ciad-Ghin responded. “No sane woman wants to feel pain, no matter how submissive she is.” When she turned and began digging through Flur's luggage, the younger woman watched her, occasionally dabbing at her eyes.
“What are you looking for?” Flur inquired as Ilyriatri pulled a handful of objects from her luggage, turning them in her hand before dropping all but two on the bed. When she turned back to Flur, she was holding an elegant black leather choker that had been a gift from Flur's second lover and a length of leather string that she had removed from one of Flur's blouses. Flur drew a ragged breath as Ilyriatri strolled over to her.
