We have arrived at the second part of the sixth chapter, and the altered Kiesha is distraught by the changes that Mathair Astinmah made to her body. Rhyslin has to set her at ease, while at the same time making his new guests comfortable. And Rembran, you’ll just have read the selection.

Sensing someone coming up behind her, Ilyriatri turned and examined the dryad. This dryad was the same one that Mathair had used as an avatar, except for the absence of gray streaks in the deep, lustrous black locks that flowed around a young woman's face.
